Location
Charming House Marquês is located 100 meters from Marquês de Pombal square, in the upper part of one of the hills of the city that were urbanized in the 19th Century and developed through the opening of large pathways to the civic and historical center of the city. Having now become a zone of residence for the middle bourgeoisie, it is today equipped with all services, from restaurants to shops and everything in between.
The Praça do Marquês has an underground station that takes you to the city center and neighboring areas such as Vila Nova de Gaia - with its famous wine cellars of Oporto, Matosinhos / Maia - especially the Francisco Sá Carneiro International airport, Vila do Conde - town of great historical, cultural and artistic interest and Póvoa de Varzim - one of the main beach resorts in the Oporto Metropolitan Area.
Our guests are always just a few minutes away by underground from anywhere they wish to visit in this area. For those who visit us by car, we are 5 minutes from the entrance to the city by the Circunvalação road.
